Join the Mississippi State University Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Department of Meteorology, in collaboration with the National Weather Service (NWS) – Jackson, for an interactive and engaging Weather Ready Workshop focused on severe weather preparedness and storm spotting.
This workshop provides students, faculty, and staff with the knowledge and skills to recognize severe weather threats, understand weather alerts, and respond effectively to hazardous conditions. Participants will receive Storm Spotter training from NWS experts, learning how to identify and report dangerous weather conditions to enhance community safety.
